Click Through Rate – In a simple term it is a ratio people often see your ads and ends up with clicking on it. CTR is a metrics to measure or gauge your Google ads keywords, image, or text ad performance.
Mathematically, it is number of clicks that your ads received divided by the number of times your ads is shown. Clicks ÷ Impression = CTR. CTR is always in percentage format in Googles Ads.
For Example, If you have 9 clicks on 100 impression of your Google Ads, that’s means you have CTR of 9%.
Benchmarking of CTR varies from industry to industry. But for D2C or E-commerce business CTR more than 2% is term as high CTR ads.
